What are Missional Discipleship Groups (MDG)?

Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’
— Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

  • Wanted to know more about what it means to be a follower of Christ
  • Experienced a disconnect between what you learn at church and life in the real world

Vision of MDG: What do we want to see?

We want to see God glorified as lives and communities are transformed and reconciled through daily and intentional living for God. We want to be multiplying community groups that disciple each other, challenge each other to follow Christ, and saturate our city and world with love and service for God’s glory.

Mission of MDG: How will this vision be accomplished?

By equipping community members for Kingdom-building through the Word and prayer.

By training together through engaging in challenges and service to our communities.

By acting in love and service to each other, our families, friends, neighbors, strangers, community, city, and world.
